Job description

The role of a Front Desk Staff position is part time, in which the main responsibilities are to happily greet and check in members, assist with prospective members, and provide locker keys and towels. Must have a willingness and desire to be part of a team environment. No experience required. Hours vary, depending on the shift. Duties include but are not limited to:

-Making sure membership is valid

-Answering the phone, taking detailed messages for all staff

-Making accurate reservations for massage therapists, personal training appointments, nutrition appointments and more

-Washing, drying and folding towels

-Keeping desk area tidy and assisting with picking up the lounge, studios, locker rooms, weight room and pool area

-Restocking coolers and supplies when needed

-Accepting payments for any item purchased by a member that must be processed through the cash register

-Providing support to rest of the staff, assisting with equipment changes for transitioning classes

-Communicating to the membership, all upcoming events, membership specials and new classes when needed

-Completing shift task list

-Touring and signing up prospective members if Membership Director, Front Desk Lead or other manager is not available

-Committing to checking work email a minimum of once a day

-Reports to Front Desk Lead
