BASIC PURPOSE
Responsible for providing and maintaining high quality service standards and providing unique, memorable experiences for our guests through In-Room Dining Service, including telephone order taking, food deliveries and set up.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work Experience)
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.

  • Prior fine dining or hospitality food & beverage experience is desired.

  • Customer service experience desired.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ensure that Four Diamond standards and a consistent level of guest satisfaction are met.

  • Provide unique, authentic and memorable experiences for all dining guests.

  • Knowledge of the menu offered and ability to explain the items on the menu.

  • Answer phone within 3 rings, follow phone etiquette and input orders into Micros.

  • Complete paperwork, ensure tickets are correct and closed out proerly and drop cash after each scheduled shift.

  • Deliver food based on steps of service.

  • Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained.

  • Be thoroughly familiar with responsibilities of IRD server.

  • Be thoroughly familiar with F&B menus and available promotions and options.

  • Station set-up and break-down, walk guest floors for trays in hallways and side-work.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Outlets Management.

  • Have knowledge of fine dining service.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

  • Assist where needed within F&B.

ENVIRONMENT and POSITION ANALYSIS
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, objects weighing up to 25 pounds and push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and food/beverage items.

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT
  • Micros computer system & printer, telephone, IRD carts/hot boxes, toaster, serving trays and dining items (plates, utensils, etc).
