As a member of the AHC family, you will join a team of over 300 coworkers, all devoted to providing quality health care to all residents of our communities, regardless of their ability to pay.
Your Valued Contributions:
Provides high quality primary care, integrates services and participates in the development of future health care objectives and services.
  1. Provides comprehensive and continuous healthcare, including physical examination, disease diagnosis, medical treatment, medication prescribing, medical consultation, patient and staff education and disease prevention services.
  2. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
  3. Records physical examination findings and formulates a plan for care.
  4. Submits health care plans and treatment goals for periodic peer review.
  5. Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy or related therapeutic procedures.

Required Training & Experience:
Possesses a current Michigan state license for practicing as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy.
Possesses current board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
Possesses a current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license.
Possesses a current State of Michigan driver's license and valid automobile insurance.
Possesses a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
