Job description

Byron-Bergen CSD is looking for Two (2) Part-Time Cleaners. 
Prior building cleaning experience not needed.
Starting pay $16.75 per hour.
A Genesee County Civil Service Application must also be completed. 
Fingerprinting through TEACH is required prior to starting.



Job Description per Genesee County Civil Service

CLEANER DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This is routine manual work calling for the performance of simple cleaning duties. Work is performed under direct supervision of a Supervisor who assigns tasks and frequently inspects and evaluates the employee and their work when completed. Does related work, as required.

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: 
Sweeps and mops floors by hand or floor machine:
Washes windows and polishes floors;
Dusts woodwork, furniture and other articles;
Cleans lavatories and replenishes supplies;
Washes glassware and other dishware equipment;
Vacuum carpets;
Picks up and recycles trash;
Does related work as needed.
