Job description

Anesthesiologist Part-Time Opportunity
Fairbanks, Alaska | Ambulatory Surgery Center | W-2 or 1099
Position Highlights:
  • Lifestyle ambulatory surgery center position
  • Part-time: 3036 hours/week or 3 days/week
  • Vacation: 811 weeks annually
  • Start Date: December 15, 2025
  • Compensation: $400,000$450,000/year
  • W-2 Employee (preferred) or 1099 Contractor

Key Benefits:
  • No call, no weekends, no nights, no holidays

  • Bread-and-butter outpatient cases
  • Regional anesthesia skills are required
  • Collaborative, supportive team environment
  • Optional 23-hour patient coverage 13 times/year (extra pay)

Clinical Practice:
  • Cases: Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Gynecology, Neuro Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Endoscopy
  • 8090% personally performed cases; 1020% CRNA supervision
  • Outpatient anesthesia always; pediatric and neuroanesthesia sometimes
  • Rare trauma cases; no cardiac, thoracic, vascular, obstetric, or chronic pain

Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (Anesthesiology)
  • Alaska medical license (or eligibility)
  • Current ACLS certification
  • New graduates welcome
