Job description

Job purpose

The International Team Assistant is a crucial position within the Human Resources department. This person works closely with the International Student Coordinator to assist with housing and other J1 student-related issues. This is a seasonal part-time position, with the chance to expand.

Duties and responsibilities

Assist students

  • Pick up students who arrive within the set hours of 9am to 6pm and drop off at assigned housing.
  • Check-in new students for housing, including collection of deposits and rent.
  • Occasionally drive students to clinic or other medical appointments.
  • Perform move-out walk throughs for students leaving.
  • Enforce rules of housing area, especially noise levels and cleanliness.
  • Available to assist students with any issues with cabin, laundry, etc.
  • Help upkeep the areas around pool and laundry.

Comply with all policies and procedures of Funtown Splashtown USA

  • Follow all policies and procedures of the Department.
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Attend all required department, interdepartmental, and park trainings.
  • You may choose to add additional duties with other departments.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a clean driving record and a current driver's license.
  • Must be able to commit to work the entire season.
  • Must have a functioning email and phone for communication with HR, J1 students, and other department managers.
