Job description

Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Finn Lab at OMRF is looking for creative, motivated applicants for a part-time Research Technician position. You will carry out experiments independently after training and share in regular lab maintenance tasks. You will present your work one-on-one and in small group sessions to the lab, and we will identify and plan future experiments together.
Minimum Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software. Must be detail oriented and work independently as well as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications

Professional lab experience with relevant techniques such as cell culture, confocal microscopy, and image processing will be greatly advantageous.

Scripting experience with R or Python strongly preferred.

Work Hours

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, 10-15 hours per week.
