The Plant Peddler is an interior landscape service provider that has been beautifying Atlanta since 1983. The business maintains interior plants and plantscapes, ranging from desktop orchids to multi-story green walls to event staging, throughout the Atlanta Metro.
About the Horticultural Operations Technician Role
Horticultural Operations Technician helps The Plant Peddler and its clients create great environments, enhancing some of Atlanta's best interior spaces. Specifically, the role encompasses a number of duties that helps keep The Plant Peddler running, including greenhouse plant maintenance, plant maintenance at client sites, and the staging/installation of commercial environments.
Technical Duties:

  • Help maintain plants in The Plant Peddler greenhouses
  • Help prepare plants for delivery to client sites
  • Help stage/install plants at client sites at the direction of The Plant Peddler's design team and design partners
  • Help maintain plants on client sites
  • Help stage/install holiday decor
Customer Service Duties:
  • Exhibit courteous behavior at all times while servicing accounts.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Has horticultural, greensman, or set dressing experience
  • Able to lift plants and staging/installation materials, including 6' - 8' trees
