Overview

Chenega Naswik International, LLC isย seekingย professional and highly motivated Armed Security Officers to support security operations at assigned locations. This positionย is responsible forย protecting personnel, facilities, property, and assets through access control, patrol operations, emergency response, and security enforcement activities in support of federal security missions.ย 

  • The ideal candidate is a dependable security professional with strong observational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to serve on a mission-critical security team while helping ensure the safety and security of government personnel, visitors, and facilities.ย 

Responsibilities
  • Provide armed security services in support of government facilities, personnel, and assets.ย 

  • Perform access control and traffic control functionsย in accordance withย established procedures.ย 

  • Conduct walking and motorized patrol operations to detect and deter security threats.ย 

  • Respond to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and other security-related events.ย 

  • Conduct personnel, vehicle, building, and facility inspections.ย 

  • Perform package, parcel, and property inspections asย required.ย 

  • Monitor activity andย identifyย suspicious behavior, security violations, or safety concerns.ย 

  • Documentย incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.ย 

  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and government personnel.ย 

  • Maintain assigned equipment, uniforms, and operational readiness standards.ย 

  • Support emergency response and incident management activities.ย 

  • Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, andย special eventsย whenย required.ย 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.ย 

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GEDย required.ย 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.ย 

  • Two (2) years of service in the United States Armed Forces, including Reserve or National Guard service; orย 

  • Any combination of two (2) years of military service and physical security experience as an armed or unarmed security officer; orย 

  • Associate's degree in Security, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field; orย 

  • Successful completion of a police officer basic training academy.ย 

  • Mustย possessย and maintain a valid state driver's license.ย 

  • Ability to successfully pass required background screening requirements.ย 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Priorย armed security, military, law enforcement, or force protection experience.ย 

  • Experience supporting federal government or Department of Homeland Security contracts.ย 

  • Experience conducting access control, patrol, and emergency response operations.ย 

  • Experience operating security systems, communications equipment, or surveillance technology.ย 

  • CPR, First Aid, or other security-related certifications.ย 

Knowledge,ย Skillsย and Abilities:ย ย 

  • Knowledge of physical security, force protection, and access control principles.ย 

  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies andย high-stressย situations.ย 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.ย 

  • Proficiencyย with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.ย 

  • Ability toย operateย computers, radios, vehicles, and standard office equipment.ย 

  • Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.ย
