Home Staging Assistant
Location: New York City
Employment Type: Part-time

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and hardworking Home Staging Assistant to join our growing staging and design team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys interiors, design, organization, and working in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will play an important role in preparing, installing, maintaining, and breaking down residential staging projects throughout NYC.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with furniture deliveries, installations, and staging projects
  • Organize furniture and accessories
  • Assist the design team with placing furniture, artwork, rugs, décor, and accessories
  • Prepare furniture and accessories for upcoming projects
  • Help maintain organization and cleanliness of the inventory through our inventory manager
  • Organize and label inventory by item, size, color, and category
  • Inspect furniture and décor for damage or wear and report issues to management
  • Assist with packing, wrapping, and properly storing furniture and accessories
  • Help maintain staging inventory and ensure items are returned to their proper locations
  • Assist with staging breakdowns and furniture returns
  • Follow project instructions and staging plans carefully
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working in client homes and properties
  • Communicate effectively with the staging and design team
  • Take photos of completed installations and inventory when requested
  • Perform other staging, warehouse, and administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in home staging, interior design, moving, hospitality, or a related field is a plus, but not required
  • Strong interest in interiors, furniture, and design
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative
  • Comfortable working in a physically active environment
  • Able to travel throughout the tri-state area
  • Comfortable working in residential buildings, apartments, and homes throughout NYC
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to follow direction while also being proactive when something needs to be done
