Crowne Point Surgery Center in Flint, Michigan is one of Blue Cloud's multispecialty centers. Our team supports both pediatric patients undergoing dental procedures and adult patients undergoing outpatient gastrointestinal procedures, with a shared focus on safety, quality, comfort, and exceptional patient experience.

ABOUT YOU
You have an exceptional work ethic, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care for patients of all ages. YOU WILL
  • Provide safe, compassionate preoperative nursing care for pediatric and adult patients in the ambulatory surgery center setting
  • Assess, monitor, and document each patient's status upon arrival to the recovery area and throughout the post-anesthesia recovery process
  • Deliver individualized nursing care based on patient age, procedure type, surgical or gastrointestinal condition, and anesthesia plan
  • Monitor pediatric and adult patients during the intraoperative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) periods, promptly communicating observed changes or complications to the appropriate dentist, physician, gastroenterologist, surgeon, or anesthesia provider

YOU HAVE
Requirements + Qualifications
  • Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)
  • GI/endoscopy experience strongly valued
  • Pediatric experience strongly valued

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Previous ICU, perioperative, PACU, endoscopy, or ambulatory surgery center experience
