Position Summary
The Back of House (BOH) Team Member is responsible for supporting all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, sanitation, and stocking. This position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to providing high-quality food in a safe and clean environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare orders according to recipes and standards.
  • Work with sharp knives and kitchen tools at a rapid pace.
  • Handle cooked meats and hot items (150°F or higher).
  • Stock cold and hot products on the serving line as needed.
  • Load and unload cooking and baking utensils.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Adhere to all company food safety, health, and sanitation policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or General Manager.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (in compliance with labor laws).
  • Previous foodservice or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and quality.

Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and move for the majority of the shift.
