Tummy Time Academy (www.tummytimeacademy.com) provides playful & personalized early intervention services for children ages 0-3 years old.

We believe that caring for children starts with caring for our therapists.

Meaningful therapy should not come at the cost of burnout. We offer:

  • Flexible schedules & realistic caseloads so your work fits your life

  • A collaborative team and dedicated administrative support, you can focus on building connections and helping families and children grow

  • Competitive pay because therapists deserve it

Just as every child deserves to be seen and supported, we believe our therapists deserve that same care, respect, and encouragement in their work.

Overview:

Tummy Time Academy is seeking a Physical Therapist interested in a career that schedules around your life, works 1-on-1 with families, and brings out your inner child and creativity.

  • Travel to location of session (family's home, daycare, playground, library).

  • Reflecting with family on progress since last session.

  • Observing & assessing your assigned child's gross motor skills to determine strengths/needs as it relates to their goal.

  • Demonstrating exercises & activities for your assigned child by adapting play to focus on addressing concerns in range of motion, flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination as it relates to their goal.

  • Teaching & guiding families on adapting their play and problem solving on how they can fit these activities into their daily routines to assist with achieving their goal.

  • Sharing and reviewing the session note with families using family-friendly language via provided technology and email at the end of session.

  • Mentorship - new grad or never worked with kids? Not a problem, our mentorship program will give you the confidence to push the imposter syndrome aside!

  • CEU reimbursement
