Job description

Burlington Capital LLC has an excellent opportunity for an organized, customer-focused individual looking for a flexible part-time position in a professional corporate environment. This role combines front desk responsibilities with courier and office support duties, making it an excellent opportunity for a college student or someone seeking hands-on business experience.

Schedule

  • Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday
  • Hours scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors and provide a professional first impression at the front desk.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Pick up and deliver documents, packages, and other items throughout the local area.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, overnight shipments, and company mailings.
  • Organize and distribute interoffice mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain clean and organized common areas, including kitchens, supply rooms, and shared workspaces.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Proof of current automobile insurance.
  • Reliable personal vehicle for daily local errands (mileage reimbursed at the current IRS rate).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Familiarity with the Omaha metro area or the ability to navigate using maps/GPS.
  • Ability to work a consistent part-time schedule with occasional flexibility when needed.
