What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, behavioral health concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal supervision and site personnel regarding daily activities and security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
