Home Health Aide - Requirements

  • Successful completion of a Home Health Aide Certificate (HHA)
  • Palm Beach County HHA Badge
  • Certified CPR-BLS for healthcare providers (in person course)
  • Must hold the following CEU's- HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, Domestic Violence, Infection Control, Medical Records, Resident Rights, Communication w/impaired, Medical Error and Self Administration of Medications
  • Physical Exam and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within the last 5 years is required
  • Minimum one (1) year of paid experience is required
  • Valid Drivers license, auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
