Position Summary
The position will involve assisting with clinical neuromodulation research focused on analyzing deep brain stimulation (DBS) lead efficacy and variability in patient outcomes among individuals with movement disorders such as Essential Tremor and Parkinson's disease. Responsibilities will include supporting subject consenting and clinical research coordination activities, organizing and maintaining patient research databases, and assisting with analysis of DBS lead placement, target brain region response, and factors associated with differences in therapeutic efficacy and recovery outcomes between patients. Additional responsibilities may include data management, literature review, research support tasks, and collaboration with research staff to better understand mechanisms influencing DBS treatment effectiveness.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
Subject consenting and clinical research coordination activity experience.
