Job description

Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician (Part-Time)

Location: Charlotte Hall Facility, 30007 Business Center Drive, Charlotte Hall, MD

JOB SUMMARY: Join our dedicated team at Pyramid Healthcare, where we are committed to providing the highest quality of care in addiction treatment, mental health recovery, and eating disorder treatment. With over 40 years of service, the Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center has been a pillar in the community, offering structured programs that guide clients through detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment, and family education. Our passionate leadership fosters an empowering environment for clients at all stages of recovery, enabling them to reclaim their health and well-being.

HOURLY RATE: $15.00/hour before differentials!

SHIFT AVAILABLE: 11pm-7:30am AND 3:00pm-11:30pm  (3 days per week , every other week-end)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transport clients to appointments and discharge locations using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Complete the intake process for new clients entering the program.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation.
  • Observe and document client self-administration of medication, as applicable.
  • Coordinate and facilitate client activities.
  • Follow treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs.
  • Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs, providing appropriate responses, including crisis intervention.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment for clients.
  • Assist clients with their dietary needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Valid Driver's License preferred.
  • Behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience preferred.
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.

EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION: Candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.
