Job description

Foodshed LLC is looking for a Part Time Handyperson with strong skills in all general contracting disciplines to maintain all three restaurants in our group: Woodberry Kitchen (full service dining), Artifact Coffee (coffee shop serving breakfast and lunch), and Sandlot (beach bar at Harbor Point). Many adjustments to each of the physical spaces will be needed as we heed government regulations to protect our team and our guests from the spread of Covid-19 and we also intend for this to be a long term position beyond the current pandemic.
The scope of this work will range from simple fixes and maintenance needs for facilities and equipment to designing and building enhancements to the spaces or tools for the services. The work will be primarily project based and should remain steady part time as it is spread across all three restaurants. We are looking for someone who has flexibility in scheduling and can be available, on call, for nights and weekends if necessary.
Significant experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing, will contribute greatly to the success of this candidate. Familiarity with restaurant specific equipment including refrigeration, dishwashing equipment, hood vents, or wood fired ovens, a huge plus.
