What are some common challenges of working part-time in a hair salon, and how can they be managed?

One common challenge for part-time hair salon employees is balancing a flexible schedule with client demand, especially during peak hours. You may also need to quickly adapt to last-minute appointment changes or fill in for colleagues. Building strong communication with the team and maintaining a reliable calendar can help manage these challenges. Additionally, staying up to date with salon protocols and continuing to develop your technical skills can ensure you provide consistent service, even with limited hours.
