Job description

Position Overview
The Graphic Production Detailer plays an important role in our graphic production process by preparing graphic files and artwork primarily for large format printing needs. This position requires advanced understanding of the print production process from file preparation to the finished product. This position interprets creative concepts and aligns the input of the artwork to the final printed product.
The Graphic Production Detailer understands how individual contributions can impact the success of our business unit and the company overall. This position reports to the Associate Director of Graphic Production Detailing and contributes to our goal of delivering exceptional and transformative experiences.
Key Job Responsibilities
Graphic Detailing
  • Create, prepare, and review complex graphic designs for printing, ensuring they meet technical specifications, and production requirements.
  • Set color profiles: Ensure accurate color calibration, resolution, and layout adjustments based on client and production needs.
  • Preform pre-press tasks: file conversion, color separation, written content, and format adjustments.
  • Engage and collaborate with project stakeholders for accuracy's
  • Deliver high quality and maintain consistent print production files.
  • Maintain and organize digital assets, ensuring version control and proper archiving.
  • Contribute to project quality control from graphic design through the print process.
  • Maintain consistent print production files and project files.
  • Adhere and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Perform Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the department manager and/or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
  • 1+ years working experience in graphic prepress, and/or related fields for print production.
  • Associates or higher degree and/or certificate in Adobe Creative Suite software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of printing process and file preparation techniques.
  • Experience in Color management and typography.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Competent in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with various print materials and finishing techniques.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Organization skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Color management skills are a plus.
