Job description

Are you ready to use your graphic design skills to serve the local church? We’re hiring a part-time Graphic Designer to play an integral role in creating content for all ministries and campuses of Rolling HIlls Community Church. OBJECTIVE

To assist the Lead Graphic Designer in creating compelling print and digital assets that support the overall marketing and communications strategy across all Rolling Hills campuses. Beyond technical design, this role functions as a vital part of the staff team—actively encouraging, serving, and supporting the broader church body.


GIFTS | SKILL SET

Design & Technical: Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva template design, social media asset creation, and graphic formatting for web platforms. Knowledge of Figma is a plus (preferred, but not required).


Creative & Strategic: Strong visual storytelling, brand consistency, layout design, and creative problem-solving.


Core Strengths: Highly detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and effective time management across multiple campus priorities.


Relational & Ministry Focus: Team builder, collaborative spirit, and a passion for serving the local church.


EXPECTATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Asset Creation & Production: Design high-quality digital and print collateral across all campuses—including social graphics, screen slides, brochures, event promos, digital signage, and direct mail.
  • Brand Consistency: Support the Lead Graphic Designer in maintaining visual alignment, tone, and visual quality across all church platforms.
  • Strategic Engagement: Produce engaging designs that drive awareness, inspire church members, and connect with prospective attendees in the community.
  • Project Management: Track deliverables, update project statuses, and manage deadlines using Monday.com in coordination with the Comms Project Manager.
  • Proofing & Excellence: Ensure graphic precision, correct specs, and high visual standards before assets go to print or publication.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum high school diploma; college degree preferred
  • Proficient in or ability to adapt to and learn Google Office Suite and Planning Center software programs


COMPENSATION

Part -Time | Non-exempt
25 hours/week, Monday-Friday
