Are you outgoing, goal-oriented, and motivated by the opportunity to earn more through sales?


GolfCave Fair Lawn is hiring part-time Golf Rangers to help us deliver an outstanding customer experience and continue growing our membership community.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys golf, works well with people, and is excited by measurable goals. Golf knowledge is important, but you do not need to be an expert golfer. We are especially interested in candidates who are comfortable starting conversations, giving facility tours, recommending memberships, following up with prospective members, and asking for the sale.


GolfCave Fair Lawn is still in an exciting growth phase, which means Rangers have meaningful opportunities to sell memberships, earn commissions, and contribute directly to the success of the center.

Compensation and Sales Incentives


  • $16.50 per hour
  • $25 commission for every membership sold
  • $400 additional bonus for every six memberships sold within a calendar month
  • Continued earning potential as additional membership goals are reached


What You’ll Do

  • Welcome customers and create a friendly, professional experience
  • Give engaging tours of the facility
  • Explain GolfCave membership options and their benefits
  • Identify prospective members and recommend the right membership
  • Follow up with interested customers and membership leads
  • Work toward individual membership-sales goals
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer questions
  • Book and manage tee times
  • Help customers get started on TrackMan golf simulators
  • Sell memberships, gift cards, and other GolfCave offerings
  • Handle front-desk procedures
  • Clean and prepare Caves between reservations
  • Open or close the facility according to established procedures
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment


Who We’re Looking For

  • Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking with new people
  • Motivated by goals, commissions, and performance bonuses
  • Willing to proactively recommend memberships and ask for the sale
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new technology
  • Knowledgeable about golf and interested in the game
  • Able to balance sales responsibilities with excellent customer service
  • Previous sales, retail, hospitality, fitness, golf, or customer-service experience is a plus


Availability

GolfCave Fair Lawn is open seven days a week. Evening and weekend availability is required. Candidates should be available to work approximately 6–24 hours per week.
