Hurricane CitySky Mountain Golf Course Grill Server Part-time Position (approximately 25-28 hours per week)$9.75 per hourBenefits A benefit package is not offered with this part-time positionJob Description Position SummaryIncumbents in this position are required to have all State and Local Food and Alcohol Service certifications within two weeks of being hired. Provide service to patrons by taking orders for food and beverages while preparing and delivering same. Provide excellent customer service to patrons of the golf course.Supervision Received Works under the general supervision of Grill Manager.Essential Functions (Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. The list of tasks is illustrative only and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class.)Answers questions regarding the menu. Takes food and beverage orders.Delivers food, beverages, condiments and other requested items to customers.Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers' satisfaction.Prepares and delivers orders and processes the monetary transactions for customers.Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning and sanitizing the dining and surrounding areas.Maintains compliance with applicable health, safety, food handline and hygiene codes and standards.Assists with unloading, inspection and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.Complete daily reports and deposits.Make sure all food service areas are cleaned and disinfected during the day and at closing.Make sure facility, alcohol and kitchen areas are locked and secured at closing.Typical Physical/Mental Demands/Working ConditionsIncumbent of the position performs in a typical restaurant/kitchen setting. Exposure to extreme heat, steam and cold present in a kitchen environment. Tasks require variety of physical activities, sitting or standing for extended periods while assisting customers and while operating kitchen equipment. Walking, standing, stooping, sitting, reaching and light lifting. Talking, hearing and seeing essential in the performance of daily tasks.Common eye, hand, finger dexterity exist. Must be able to lift, balance and carry trays of food. Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability and critical thinking. Considerable exposure to stress as a result of human behavior, including dealing with unpleasant, angry or discourteous individuals as part of the job requirements.Minimum Qualifications Qualifications Education and Experience:1. High School diploma or equivalent;2. Must be 21 years of age or older;3. Utah Food Handler and Alcohol Server certified; and4.
