Job description

Position Description The City of Edina/Braemar Golf Course is seeking applications for various part-time positions for the 2026 golf season. Hours vary by position and may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Salary varies by position.

Read through job descriptions and supplemental information below for the details regarding each position. The golf season typically runs from April 1 through October 31. If you are looking to work this summer in a fun atmosphere with great co-workers, Braemar Golf will be that place.

Available Positions: Course & Grounds Maintenance Positions will remain open until fill. Essential Functions Maintenance (Grounds): Grounds Maintenance staff safely operate a variety of tools, machinery and equipment to perform maintenance duties on the golf course and grounds. Staff perform daily maintenance tasks and golf course set up to include (but not limited to) mowing, raking bunkers and cleaning equipment.

Additional work may include weed whipping and laying sod. The hourly wage range is $16.10 -$19.31. Qualifications Qualifications vary by position, but these positions require excellent customer service, be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication skills and be self-motivated

Supplemental Information Supplemental Information for Course and Grounds Maintenance: Candidate must be available to work weekends and holidays. Approximately 15-40 hours per week. Position requires lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Candidates must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license. Working Conditions: Course & Ground Maintenance: The position is performed primarily outdoors with exposure to inclement weather, outdoor allergens including insects and wildlife, slippery surfaces, uneven ground, noise generated from equipment operation. Use of various personal protective equipment (PPE) for identified hazards.

Position requires occasional standing/walking, pushing/pulling, bending/kneeling/squatting, grasp and reach for routine assigned tasks.
