Job description

Position Title:
Assistant Mens Soccer Coach
Job Description:
As the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach Duties include assisting in all areas of operation for the men's soccer team in cooperation with the Coach. A major responsibility of this position is to maintain relationships with players and frequently serve as a go-between for players and the Head Coach. The assistant coach helps the Head Coach in all other areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • In training work closely with the goalkeepers and also help Coach [Name] working with field players.
  • Implement on-field strategies and formations for matches
  • Discuss, and prepare practice plans and execute training programs
  • From a recruiting standpoint, the assistant travels to watch prospects play, identify potential recruits, and maintain communication with them through-out the recruitment process.
  • Travel/meal arrangements
  • Fundraising
  • Event planning
  • Scouting

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
  • Division I playing or coaching experience.
  • Possess general knowledge of intercollegiate athletics and NCAA regulations.
  • Have strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary/Hours/Benefits
  • $7,000 Salary, 10-month contract (August - May)
  • Part Time
