Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide special assistance to all guests and groups, immediately take care of any guest requests.
Assist team members and other departments as needed to ensure appropriate guest service.
Keep alert for "rowdy" guests and notify supervisor immediately.
Promptly correct any mechanical failure and refer those failures that you cannot fix to maintenance.
Provide legible and thorough record keeping of daily shift paperwork. Make copies of reports on copy machine.
Meticulously clean and organize all areas in Fun Quest, keep all counters and games clean.
Run and operate games and redemption machines in your assigned area.
Remain at your assigned station until relieved by supervisor or other attendant and make appropriate announcements on PA system.
Communicate with management when supplies need to be ordered.
Operate POS as needed for digital redemption of tickets, prizes, and game cards for guests.
Receive payment from guests in the form of cash, credit cards, room charges and comp slips; make change as needed, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all monetary transactions. Make deposits/cash drops, complete appropriate cashier paperwork/reports, balance, and secure bank.
Post and payout tips as required. Create, and settle, all checks, comps, charges, etc., while running adding machine tapes on all charges. Count down bank and make accurate "drops" when required.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Meet requirements of regular attendance to effectively complete job responsibilities in a timely manner.
Consistently exhibits courteous, respectful, and appropriate communications and presents information in a concise and understandable format.
Contributes to a positive work environment, fosters collaboration, and provides a tangible contribution.
Ability to verbally communicate in English and attend and participate in meetings to be informed of new rules, regulation, and procedures and to discuss other concerns.
Work with interruptions and to perform multiple tasks while remaining collected in high pressure situations.
Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: coordination, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous guest service experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull 50lbs or less constantly.
The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands, light grasping motions and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment, electrical, and mechanical devices.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be quiet or loud at times.
Team member may be exposed to vibrations, fumes/odors, dirt/dust, moving objects, and high places.
