Mathnasium has just launched a brand-new location in Grant Park ! We are looking for dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic instructors.
We aren't just looking for people who are good at math. We are looking for friendly, fun, caring people who love to encourage, mentor and foster ongoing relationships with students at our learning center.

*Schedule*Instructors are expected to work a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Monday-Thursday: 2:30 PM-7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Sunday 12:00 PM - 3:30

What you will do as an instructor:
  • Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
  • Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
  • Become proficient with all educational materials and processes

What we are looking for in an instructor:
  • Passion for math and working with students
  • Excellent interpersonal skills-- this is key!!!
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
Candidates that we select will join an organization that also includes the Mathnasium locations in Decatur and Morningside. We offer a flexible work schedule, opportunities to advance and excellent hands-on training.
While fluency in math through at least pre-calculus is a pre-requisite, a sincere love of working with kids is also essential. We are seeking buoyant and joyful people who can connect with kids of all ages and ability levels.
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
