Purpose: Responsible for the preparation, organization, and documentation of materials for School
Committee meetings and official functions, including agendas, minutes, reports, presentations, and
the accurate recording of votes and deliberations, in collaboration with the Administrative
Assistant to the School Committee.
Performance Responsibilities:
Maintain confidentiality of all records, communications, and sensitive information.
Prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and documents as required.
Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Maintain accurate files, records, and documentation systems.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of successful secretarial or administrative experience in a public
or private organization's management office.
Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce clear and
professional documentation.
Full proficiency in business management software, with strong skills in spreadsheet
development, data entry, and ongoing maintenance of records and reports.
Reports to: Superintendent of Schools/School Committee
Salary and Terms of Employment: $42.00 per hour/part-time
Eligible applicants include current full-time employees available to work additional hours beyond
the standard contractual schedule.
