Job description

Position Title: Crew Member
Department: Operations
Reports To: General Manager
Status (FT/PT): Part-Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Travel: None
Location: Onsite at park location

JOB SUMMARY:

Crew Members are frontline team members responsible for delivering a safe, engaging, and memorable guest experience across multiple operational stations within the park. This role is designed to provide exposure to core areas of park operations while building foundational workplace skills in guest service, safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Crew Members may be assigned to one or more stations based on business needs. Station assignments are not guaranteed and may change at the discretion of park leadership.

Operational stations may include:

  • Court Monitor
  • Greeter / Park Support
  • Party Host
  • Party Coordinator
  • Cafe Front of House (FOH)
  • Cafe Back of House (BOH)
  • Front Desk (Sales)
  • Park Training
  • Marketing Support

Crew Members are expected to demonstrate reliability, coachability, and alignment with Sky Zone's mission and values while maintaining safety and operational standards at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Responsibilities (All Stations)

  • Deliver a safe and positive guest experience at all times.
  • Follow and enforce park safety rules and operational procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
  • Adapt to changing business demands and station assignments.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and professionalism during each shift.

Station-Specific Responsibilities

Court Monitor
  • Actively supervise attractions to ensure guest safety.
  • Enforce safety rules consistently and respectfully.
  • Identify and address unsafe behavior promptly.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures as trained.
Greeter / Park Support
  • Welcome guests and provide directional assistance.
  • Support guest flow and traffic management.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas and high-touch surfaces.
  • Monitor waiver completion and wristband compliance where applicable.
Party Host
  • Lead birthday parties and group events from start to finish.
  • Manage event timelines and transitions.
  • Deliver structured activities and high-energy guest engagement.
  • Coordinate food and room setup.
Party Coordinator
  • Prepare party rooms and materials prior to events.
  • Confirm party details and package inclusions.
  • Support seamless coordination between departments.
  • Address minor concerns and escalate when appropriate.
Cafe Front of House (FOH)
  • Take and process guest orders accurately using POS systems.
  • Provide product knowledge and suggest add-ons appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area.
  • Follow cash-handling procedures.
Cafe Back of House (BOH)
  • Prepare food and beverages according to brand standards.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs.
  • Maintain a clean prep and kitchen area.
Front Desk (Sales)
  • Greet and check in guests efficiently.
  • Assist with waivers, ticket purchases, and memberships.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by recommending memberships or enhancements that elevate the guest experience.
  • Address guest questions and concerns professionally.
Park Training
  • Complete required onboarding and safety certifications.
  • Participate in ongoing skill development.
  • Demonstrate coachability and commitment to continuous improvement.
Marketing Support
  • Assist with in-park promotions and local community events.
  • Encourage participation in surveys or promotional campaigns.
  • Represent the brand positively in all interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation starts at $10.00/hr.Full pay range goes up to 11.00 USD per hour and is based on qualifications and experience.
