We are seeking a Front Desk Concierge who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our Members and guests. This role is at the heart of our hospitality experience, supporting front office operations, youth events, and ensuring every interaction reflects world-class service.

What will be expected of you:

  • Work with the Director of Youth Activities on sleeping room amenity strategy, culture, and services
  • Assist Membership throughout their stay (service, travel, area attractions, etc.)
  • Register Members/guests and assign rooms; comply with special requests whenever possible
  • Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for registration
  • Check-in rooms into the Jonas Hotel System
  • Know room location, types of rooms available, and room rates
  • Coordinate room status updates by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms.
  • Processes member/guest check-ins and outs, manage room keys
  • Posts and files all charges to Members'/guest accounts
  • Answer the phone within the first three rings and always use proper telephone etiquette
  • Processes mail, packages, and messages
  • Read and initial the pass-on log and bulletin board daily; know of daily activities and meetings taking place in the Club
  • Count the bank at the beginning and end of every shift
  • Make sure all petty cash is in the cash register or has been accounted for
  • Coordinate guestroom maintenance work with the Engineering and Maintenance departments if the manager is not available
  • Must be aware of all safety and emergency procedures and accident prevention policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and neatness within the Front Desk area
  • Make necessary purchases for all events and work with vendors, entertainment companies, etc., to reserve appropriate items.
  • Analyze member data to identify demographic trends of the youth member population.
  • Know and understand coat check operations; fill in when necessary/emergencies (see below)

How we determine your qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of customer service or hospitality experience (front desk/rooms preferred)
  • College degree preferred
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher
  • A service mindset, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
