Part-Time Upper School Math Teacher.
We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to helping students develop confidence and proficiency in mathematics while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will have strong content knowledge in middle school mathematics, including
Pre-Algebra and Algebra I, and demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. Candidates should be collaborative, student-centered, and eager to work as part of a faith-filled community of educators.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction for students in Grade 6
- Teach middle school mathematics, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra I
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to promote student success
- Support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- New Jersey Teaching Certification (or eligibility for certification) required
- Teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra I
- Proficiency with educational technology and classroom technology integration
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
