Job description

JOB TITLE: SECURITY GUARD- PART TIME EVENINGS
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: OFFICE MANAGER
CLASSIFICATION: NON- EXEMPT
POSTION SUMMARY:
The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring the building to ensure the safety and protection for the employees, clients and property.
Hours will be Monday- Thursday 3:00pm-8:30pm amp; alternating Saturday's 5:00am-9:30am.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitors the front lobby area, and parking lot, for suspicious or inappropriate behavior.
  • Investigates and communicates to leadership all suspicious activity on the property.
  • Monitors all clients that enter and exit our facility.
  • Contacts 911 when appropriate and as situations escalate to a higher level.
  • Directs any person exhibiting inappropriate behavior to exit our property.
  • Appropriate security dress attire is required.
  • Completes an investigation report form for any and all incidents that occur on our property.
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Excellent observational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations.
  • Ability to learn the layout of the facility and property.
EDUCATION:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience required.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
Security guard training certification preferred.
COMPENSATION:
$19.05/HR.
