What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to property management and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key access points to help support site rules, visitor protocols, and after-hours procedures while reporting suspicious behavior and/or conditions to the appropriate contacts.
  • Assist with routine reporting, incident documentation, and communication with tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or management to help support daily operations and security-related awareness at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
