This is how you will grow:

· HVAC Design & Engineering: Design residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation strategies tailored to project requirements. Perform heating and cooling load calculations, equipment sizing, and ductwork layout.

· System Optimization: Evaluate and recommend high-efficiency systems such as heat pumps, ERV/HRV units, and radiant heating solutions. Support energy performance optimization and integration with renewable systems.

· Coordination & Layouts: Develop mechanical room layouts and coordinate equipment with architectural and structural constraints. Ensure seamless integration with overall building design.

· Ventilation & Air Quality: Establish effective ventilation strategies and indoor air quality solutions aligned with best practices and project goals.

· Construction Documentation: Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, HVAC sections, and specifications for inclusion in construction drawing sets.

· Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to ensure coordinated and constructible designs.

· (Preferred – Plumbing Knowledge): Support or oversee domestic water system design, including hot and cold-water systems, DWV layouts, fixture coordination, and water efficiency strategies.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential or commercial construction projects (required).

· Proficiency in Revit (required).

· Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, load calculations, and equipment selection.

· Understanding of energy-efficient systems and sustainable design strategies.

· Familiarity with plumbing systems is considered an asset.

· Ability to produce detailed construction drawings and specifications.

· Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
