Job description

Position: Title Specialist
Location: Roseland, NJ
Work Model: In Office
Compensation: $50,000–$70,000+ for full-time, depending on experience
Schedule: Part-time or full-time | 30–40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Generally 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with flexible hours
Overtime: Eligible

Overview
A law firm is seeking an experienced Title Specialist to support its foreclosure/title operations. This role is focused on closings, title searches, title products, chain of title review, and title problem resolution.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant title and/or closing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to review judgments, liens, loan documents, mortgages, and assignments of mortgages. Foreclosure exposure is a plus.
This position can be part-time or full-time, with flexible hours available.
Responsibilities
Assist with closings.
Review title searches and title products.
Review chain of title.
Identify and help resolve title issues.
Review judgments and liens.
Review loan documents, mortgages, and assignments of mortgages.
Support foreclosure-related title matters.
Work closely with the Managing Attorney.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing title and legal documents.
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of title and/or closing experience.
Experience with closings, title searches, title products, and title problem resolution.
Ability to review chain of title.
Ability to review judgments, liens, loan documents, mortgages, and assignments of mortgages.
Foreclosure exposure is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage assigned work accurately.
Must be able to commute to Roseland, NJ.
