Job description

RN pay range: $41.62 to $45.03 per hour

LPN pay range: $31.50 to $34.21 per hour

Pay depends on education and experience. Additional shift differential pay of $2.00 for 3pm-11pm shift and $4.00 for 11pm-9am shift.

$3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $1,500 sign-on bonus for part-time

This position is located in Rutland, MA.  

Available schedules:

1. Friday & Saturday 11pm-7am or 11pm-9am (part-time)

For many years, Devereux Massachusetts has primarily served students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders in residential and group home settings. Devereux’s new Medically Complex Program is designed to serve youth with complex medical needs who require 24-hour nursing care, and are therefore not able to safely reside in a home setting. Many youth in this program, although they have many strengths and abilities, do present with sensory impairments, Intellectual Disabilities, physical impairments, self-care skill deficits, or conditions that require use of medical equipment. We use an interdisciplinary team approach to meet the unique needs of each youth and we provide them with enriching, fun, and diverse opportunities to grow and learn. Our goal is to help each child in our care reach their full potential.

As a nurse at Devereux, you will use your expertise in the field to make a positive impact on our clients and families by playing an integral role in admission assessments; assessing individuals; collecting and documenting individual's current health status and medical history; administering medications; and assisting with initial treatment plans and treatment planning process. Strong communication skills are required as communicating information related to the individual's medical care and behavior with the treatment team is key. You will be responsible for oversight of assigned case load, and work collaboratively with team members, external agencies, and/or guardians.
