Job Description
The North Las Vegas Campus Student Union Student Government Office Leadis responsible for maintaining the daily operational flow of the Student Union Student Government Office while providing exceptional customer service to students, employees, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the office and ensures efficient administrative operations in support of Student Government.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the daily operational flow of the Student Union Student Government Office.
  • Verify and maintain accurate records of student employee sign-in and sign-out procedures.
  • Serve as the first point of emergency contact for student employees during assigned shifts.
  • Coordinate and facilitate monthly meetings for Student Government student employees.
  • Promptly report concerns, misconduct, or policy violations involving student employees to full-time professional staff.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate work schedules for Student Government office employees.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in accordance with established office protocols while providing courteous and professional customer service.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory of Student Government office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of CSN offices, departments, and campus services to provide accurate information and referrals.
  • Provide accurate directions and assistance to students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors.
  • Manage the reservation schedule for Student Union study rooms and ensure compliance with reservation procedures.
  • Maintain impartiality and professionalism when addressing student concerns or disagreements, treating all individuals fairly and without favoritism.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Student Government and Leadership Development operations.
