Job description

Beechwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, a Short-Term Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility located in a quaint location of New London, is seeking an Enthusiastic part time Dietitian to join our team!Responsibilities
  • Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.

  • Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.

  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

  • Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

  • Hold a Certification/License in good standing

  • Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents and staff to perform daily tasks.
