JOB SUMMARYย 
You will be focused on biometric events at BCBSSC near the following health centers. Eventsย will start in May and run through October (including flu events).
Event schedule will be set 2-3 days per week from approximately 6:15am-11:45AM each day. There are 32 biometric events and 7 flu events at the following locations

The RN is at the forefront of Proactive MDโ€™s clinical operations and is a champion of our Patient Promise: โ€œWe are only and always about the patient. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESย 

  • Completes patient assessments, including vital signs and pre-examination procedures with appropriate medical equipmentย 

  • Documentsย objective and subjectiveย data and assessments in the patient recordย ย 

  • Assists the providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedures, and follow-up careย 

  • Provides patient health counseling and instruction, including meeting with families and caregiversย 

  • Completes medication reconciliation, management, patient compliance, inventory, educationย 

  • Ensures regulatory compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelinesย 

  • Provides excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, and caregiversย 

  • The position may include triage of calls for urgent appointments, referrals for patient consults and testing, insurance pre-certification, and documentation.ย 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESย 

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing programย 

  • An active and in good standing Registered Nurse license in the state of practiceย 

  • 1+ year of clinical nursing experienceย 

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferredย
