Floor Care Technician | JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home
$16.00 - $18.00/hour, based on experience
Part-Time | 7:00AM - 3:00PM | weekend and holiday rotations

Delivering Solutions that Matter:
  • Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, and waxing floors throughout the long-term care facility.
  • Clean and disinfect floors and high-traffic areas according to infection-control and facility safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain floor-care equipment and promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
  • Coordinate cleaning activities around residents, staff, meals, and scheduled activities to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

Qualifications for Success:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in housekeeping/laundry in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
