Part Time FLOOR TECH

DO YOU HAVE FLOOR TECH SKILLS?

Monday - Friday

4 AM to 9:30 AM


The floor tech position involves cleaning and maintaining various floor types, including hard surfaces and carpets, using specialized equipment and techniques. Responsibilities include stripping and waxing floors, shampooing carpets, and ensuring a clean and sanitary environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Floor Maintenance: Stripping, waxing, and buffing hard surface floors.
  • Carpet Care: Shampooing, extracting, and bonneting carpets.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operating floor cleaning equipment.
  • Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, following infection control and universal precautions.
  • Customer Service: Interacting positively with residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous floor care experience is preferred but not always required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull, as well as stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Skills: Ability to follow instructions, maintain a positive attitude, and communicate effectively.
