Introduction: The i9 Sports official is a hands-on role responsible for game administration per sport. Sports include flag football, basketball, volleyball and soccer.
About the Brand: Based out of Tampa, Florida, i9 sports has over 3.5 million registrations in communities across the United States, and is the nation's largest multi-sport provider focused solely on high-quality, community-based kids sports leagues. i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps and clinics for boys and girls ages 3-14 in today's most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, and baseball.
A privately held company, i9 Sports was founded in 2003 by CEO Frank Fiume on the principle that the number one reason kids play organized sports is to have fun, not to become the next draft pick. Reinventing the youth sports industry, customers enjoy the i9 Sports Experience which emphasizes fun, safety and convenience as well as teaching the value of good sportsmanship.
About the Job: As an official you will not only serve as the enforcer of the rules, but will be a culture cultivator, an impartial on-field coach, and an advocate for the programs. i9 referees will be high energy, fun, reliable and service oriented people to officiate baseball, flag football, basketball & soccer games. All games are on Saturdays or Sunday afternoons. Previous experience is a plus but not required.
