Part-Time Equipment & Maintenance TechnicianRolling Hills Industries - Latrobe, PA

Rolling Hills Industries is an employee-owned company that has proudly served Western Pennsylvania for over 35 years. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Part-Time Equipment & Maintenance Technician to join our team.

What You'll Do

This hands-on position is ideal for someone with general repair knowledge who enjoys working with equipment, tools, and vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial vacuum cleaners, sweepers, and other janitorial equipment
  • Perform maintenance and minor repairs on floor scrubbers and floor care equipment
  • Coordinate and track preventative maintenance for company vehicles
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, light bulb replacement, wiper replacement, fluid checks, and other routine upkeep
  • Maintain equipment records and report major repair needs
  • Accept deliveries and verify incoming shipments
  • Assist with organizing, stocking, and distributing supplies and equipment
  • Deliver supplies and equipment to customer locations as needed
  • Help keep the warehouse, shop, and storage areas clean and organized
  • Assist with special projects and facility maintenance tasks
What We're Looking For
  • Mechanical aptitude and general repair experience
  • Ability to diagnose and solve equipment issues
  • Experience working with hand tools and power tools
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience repairing commercial cleaning equipment
  • Automotive maintenance experience
  • Small engine repair experience
  • Warehouse or inventory experience
