Job Summary
Instructor for primarily Firefighter Level 1 and Level 2 Certification for nights and weekends program delivery. Hours are on an as needed basis and seeking consistent instructors for weekly needs. Training will be delivered at training locations that include various fire departments in Wilson County, fire training centers, and college campus
Essential Duties:
Essential duties include delivering firefighter certification classes in accordance with the applicable policies and procedures of NC Fire and Rescue Commission, and Wilson Community College. This includes, but is not limited to program lecture, practical skills instruction, and practical skills evaluation.
Education and Experience:
Must be Instructor Level II through the NC Fire and Rescue Commission with qualifications in firefighter Level 1 and Level 2, and test proctor.
Education and experience must be compliant with NC Fire and Rescue Commission fire instructor qualification requirements.
