Job description

PUBLIC NOTICE

PART TIME EMPLOYMENT OPENING

FIRE PREVENTION OFFICER (FPO)


In accordance with the Personnel Policy for the Town of Seabrook, Section I, E Promotions, applications are being accepted to fill the position of Part-time Fire Prevention Officer (FPO). This position will report to the Fire Chief.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Nationally registered emergency medical technician
  • NH certified firefighter
  • NREMT Certified EMT
  • Inspector I
  • Instructor I
  • Commercial driver's license
  • Ten (10) years full time experience at Seabrook Fire Department with primary responsibility of emergency response
  • Familiarity with Life Safety Codes, Fire Safety Codes, and Building Codes

Pay Rate: $25-$35 per hour

Hours: 16-24 hours per week


The Town reserves the right to consider other qualifications, including, but not limited to experience and employment history that are relevant to obtaining the most qualified applicant.
