Looking for something more than just a job, but for a community and great purpose to your work?


Do you love being outside and working with your hands? Join Warm Beach Camp; as we hang over 2 million Christmas Lights, set up displays and prepare the property for the community's favorite Christmas tradition! The Lights of Christmas! This year will be our 30th year of this holiday event as we share the hope and light of Christ to thousands of people each year.

The Installation Crew will be the primary team setting up the event with lights and displays and then closer the event the entire Warm Beach Camp staff will assist in the final setup and then the whole ministry team will work the event from Thanksgiving through New Years. The job assignment will vary during the event once setup is all done and then in the new year, take down begins as all lights and displays are stored and put away.

SPECIFICS & COMPESNATION: Pay rate will start at $17.75/hour.

Position starts September 3rd and goes through February 2027. This is a part-time, seasonal position of 20-40 hours a week.

Shifts will primarily be Monday-Friday with some weekend shifts scheduled as we draw closer to Thanksgiving and then job assignments during The Lights of Christmas will be evening and weekends, from Thanksgiving weekend through New Years.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install lights on trees, buildings and other structures and directed.
  • Install other ground displays as directed.
  • Keep track of tools issued to you and care for them properly.
  • Responsible to fully implement the safety policies and procedures to provide a safe working environment for everyone.
  • Attend morning crew meetings.
  • During the event, fill the position assigned to you.
  • After the event, disassemble, remove and store all items as directed.

Requirements

General Qualifications: The standard qualifications for being on Warm Beach Camp staff is being willing and able in good conscience to support our statement of faith, values and mission as an Evangelical Christian, non-profit ministry. We are looking for people who are willing to work hard, be outdoors in all weather conditions, comfortable being up on ladders and using hand tools such as staple guns, plyers and wire cutters. We are also looking for people who are self-starters and follow directions, are teachable, pay great attention to detail and a team player.
