Position: Traffic Controller
Location: Canmore

May 9 to September 7
All Saturday, Sunday, and Friday/Mondays of Statutory Holiday Weekends from May 9 to September 7
Must have reliable transportation to Canmore

Impark is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Traffic Controller to manage traffic flow during busy weekends and statutory holidays in Canmore. This seasonal role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has strong situational awareness, and can maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a dynamic environment.

Consults with his/her supervisor or manager regarding items of relevance to the parking operation Act as a frontline employee which I considered an extremely important function of this position Responsible for prioritization of various jobs with his/her supervisors/manager

  • Direct vehicles and pedestrians safely around parking areas, events, or congested zones.
  • Set up and remove traffic control devices such as signs and cones.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Monitor traffic conditions and make real-time decisions to ensure public and personal safety.
  • Represent Impark professionally and adhere to all safety regulations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • A valid traffic control/flagging certification is preferred (training may be provided).
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
