The Job/What You'll Do:

AssetMark is a leading wealth management platform dedicated to empowering financial advisors and the investors they serve. As we continue to expand our finance capabilities, we are establishing a new part-time finance role to enhance our operational excellence, strengthen our team capabilities, and support our long-term growth.

We are seeking a college student in the Concord, CA area to work part-time to support our Controllership function. This individual will play an important role in performing accounts receivable and other general accounting activities supporting Controllership.

This part-time, finance role is designed to give you real, hands-on experience from day one, working on meaningful projects that directly impact the business. You'll gain exposure to innovative work, build professional skills through development opportunities, and be supported by a team that values your growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Support internal and external reporting and audit activities
  • Assistingtheteams with core transactional accounts receivable and accounting tasks
  • Supporting the development and/or enhancement of analysis, reports, and dashboards for our internal customers
  • Providing administrative and analytical support to the Controllership team
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Familiar with basic accounting concepts, formulas, and terminology

Education & Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting or Finance

Compensation: The compensation for this position is $25/hour.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
