Bistro Don Giovanni is a high-volume Napa Valley restaurant known for its seasonal Italian cuisine, wood-fired cooking, and longstanding presence in the community. We are looking for experienced servers who take pride in delivering warm hospitality, strong food and beverage knowledge, and attentive service in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Server, you will be responsible for guiding guests through their dining experience from arrival to departure. Successful candidates are knowledgeable, organized, personable, and able to maintain attention to detail while managing multiple priorities during busy service periods.

This position requires strong communication skills, teamwork, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

We are currently hiring Servers to join our team. Seasonal and ongoing variable-hour part-time positions are available.

What You'll Do
  • Provide attentive, professional, and personalized service to guests
  • Develop thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, daily specials, and beverage offerings
  • Make food, wine, cocktail, and beverage recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Accurately enter orders and communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar
  • Ensure accurate handling of guest checks, payments, cash, and point-of-sale transactions
  • Provide proper wine service and maintain high service standards throughout the guest experience
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns appropriately
  • Support food running, beverage running, and overall dining room operations
  • Work collaboratively with hosts, bartenders, bussers, food runners, and managers
  • Complete assigned opening, closing, and sidework responsibilities
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a full-service, high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong hospitality and guest service skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Availability to work weekends, including Sundays, holidays, and peak business periods
